NOMICOS YACHTS uses environment friendly TBT – Free Antifouling December 6th, 2010

The antifouling used in our fleet is an environment friendly TBT – free antifouling paint that complies with the requirements to antifouling systems as stated in the IMO Convention on the

Control of Harmful Antifouling Systems on Ships (AFS/CONF/26), adopted 5 October 2001 in London.

Our antifouling is an organotin-free self-polishing antifouling paint type, containing the following active ingredients:

- Copper (1) oxide (CAS No. 1317-39-1)
- Zinc ethylene-1,2-bis-dithiocarbamate (CAS No.12122-67-7)
